Individual Therapy Sessions
I believe that you are the expert of your life. I believe that you have the strength and capability to make the changes you wish to see. To facilitate your journey I draw on a number of therapeutic theories, approaches, tools, and techniques in my work. Coming from a person-centered, strength-based perspective, I tailor therapy for each individual client, drawing primarily on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy approaches.
Service Fee: $250/hour
Adult ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) and ADHD Assessment
The adult assessment protocol I use is based on current research and standard practices in the field of psychology. I combine the diagnostic and statistical manual (DSM-5-TR) definitions and diagnostic criteria (a ‘deficit-based’ approach) of neurodivergent conditions (e.g., ADHD, ASD) with a neurodiversity-affirmative approach to the work. The neurodiversity-affirmative approach reflects the idea that there are individual differences in how one experiences and interacts with the world, but these differences do not necessarily reflect deficits or traits/behaviours that need to be ‘fixed.’
Assessment process: The initial assessment session is two to three hours and the final follow-up meeting (typically held a few weeks following the initial assessment session) is one hour. A report will be provided to you at the time of the final meeting. All meetings can be conducted in-person or virtually.
Service Fee for ASD or ADHD Assessment: $1880
Service Fee for Combined ASD and ADHD Assessment: $2350
Psychodiagnostic Assessment
A psychodiagnostic assessment is used to determine whether one's mental health symptoms match specific criteria for a psychological condition/disorder, including disorders related to psychosis, mood, anxiety, trauma, impulse control, substance use, and personality. Psychodiagnostic assessments are useful in treatment planning and helping one better understand themselves, including their needs and behaviours.
Assessment process: The initial assessment session is three hours and the final follow-up meeting (typically held a few weeks following the initial assessment session) is one hour. However, the assessment process is dynamic and may require additional assessment sessions. A report will be provided to you at the time of the final meeting. All meetings can be conducted in-person or virtually.
Service Fee for Psychodiagnostic Assessment: $2000-2500
